摘要
In this article a new numerical solver for simulations of district heating networks is presented. The numerical method applies a local time stepping technique to networks of linear advection equations. In combination with a high order approach for coupling conditions an accurate and very efficient scheme is developed. The advantages of the proposed method compared to a generic high order ADER scheme are illustrated in several numerical tests. (C) 2019 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
