摘要
The process of glass formation in Perlite- and Obsidian-containing glass batches was discussed. It was found that during quiet liberation of residual gases at temperatures of 1300-1350°C, the glass melt undergoes stirring and homogenization. It was suggested that in order to avoid foaming in this temperature range, the glass mass should be heated at a low rate of 7-8 K/min. It was shown that perlite- and obsidian-containing glass batches are low-power-consuming batches, which are melted at temperatures 110-120°C below the melting temperature of the industrial glass.
