摘要
Flyash is used in the present scenario instead of cement which helps to make our environment green. Flyash when combined with alkaline liquid such as sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate it is termed as geopolymer. This paper briefly presents in detail about the variation of dry density, compressive strength and thermal conductivity of flyash based geopolymer mortar specimen placed under four different curing conditions such as in Ambient Temperature, Heat Chamber, Hot Air Oven and Autoclave. Here silicate to hydroxide ratio was maintained as 2.5 and liquid to flyash ratio was taken as 0.4 throughout the process. When compared to all other curing conditions it was found that hot air oven curing at 80 degrees C for 24 hours gives the compressive strength of 29.27MPa with the dry density of 1916kg/m(3) and also thermal conductivity of 0.363W/mK for 28 days.
