PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS OF CORRUPTION IN PRESENT-DAY RUSSIA A.L. Zhuravlev*, A.V. Yurevich** *Corresponding Member of RAS, Sc.D. (psychology), Deputy Director, the same place Corruption as one of the main problems of the present-day Russia is considered. This problem is shown to have expressed psychological components; it is emphasized that psychological science and practice must participate in its solution. Main tendencies in corruption's study in domestic psychology are indicated. Such practical psychological resources for corruption counteraction as changing of tolerant attitude to corruption in our society, psychological monitoring of draft laws, testing of applicants for "bribe-capacious" positions by means of special psychological methods, etc. are considered.
