Pressure methods of space charge measurement in dielectrics

摘要
The objective of this paper is to compare two pressure methods of space charge measurement in dielectrics: pressure wave propagation (PWP) and electrically stimulated pressure wave (ESPW). There are some problems connected with the acoustic wave reflections, noise, wave matching and resolution, and they are illustrated using polarized samples of the lead zirconate titanate-polystyrene composites (PZT-PS) and PTFE double sheet layers. The paper also presents a trial of explanation of the observed electric signal responses to acoustic waves.
