Models of resonantly driven motion of motor proteins in 2D potentials

摘要
This paper discusses the mathematical description of motor protein motion along protein filaments. We have included the presence of 2D potentials in the stochastic mechanism of motor protein propagation. We derive a Fokker-Planck equation for this case and show its qualitative and quantitative agreement with experimental data.
