High-temperature wear resistance of a laser-clad γ/Cr3Si metal silicide composite coating

摘要
A rapidly solidified gamma/Cr3Si Metal silicide composite coating was fabricated on a substrate of austenitic stainless steel 1Cr18Ni9Ti by laser cladding using Cr-Si-Ni elemental powder blends. The coating has excellent high-temperature wear resistance under sliding wear test conditions. (C) 2002 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
