摘要
The effects of an ultrasonic vibration on grinding surface roughness are investigated experimentally, and the test equipment is described. The controllable ultrasonic energy is superimposed to the work piece on grinding and the kinematics of the grinding process is discussed. Experimental results obtained by applying the ultrasonic vibration to the grinding process are presented, showing that the application of ultrasonic vibration to the grinding process can lower the work piece surface roughness.
