摘要
Finite element analysis software is applied to construct the two-dimensional axisymmetric model of the auto water pump bearing's seal. The relationship between the interference and the seal's deformation, Von-mises stress distribution as well as the contact stress on the sealing lip are investigate. The modeling results show that the contact stresses are triangular distributed on the contact width along the bearing axis and the maximum contact stress on the sealing lip increases with increasing the initial interference. The present research may be help to design of the automotive water pump bearing's seal.
