摘要
In this paper, we bring an overview of wireless radio communication techniques for implantable medical devices. The main focus is the ultra-wideband technology that can utilize low power and high data rates with its ability to co-exist with other electronic medical equipment. Unique properties of UWB communication make it suitable for long-term continuous health monitoring using small independent implanted sensor nodes.
