摘要
In this study, optimum solar panel positions have been determined for solar photovoltaic systems in Kutahya, Turkey by testing seven different possible scenarios; life cycle cost analyses were then performed and the systems were additionally examined both from technical and economic points of view. Radiation values were calculated for gamma = 0 degrees given different values of beta, and the maximum value of 197.8 kW/m(2) was obtained at beta = 2 degrees during the month of July. Conversely, the minimal value for gamma = 0 degrees, 89.4 kW/m(2) occurred in December at a beta = 65 degrees. According to calculations, the maximal average annual solar radiation of 134.14 kW/m(2) was obtained at gamma = 0 degrees and beta = 30 degrees for fixed solar panels. In the economical point of view, the considered systems are not profitable for the regulated sales price of the electricity. In this study, it was also found that these prices change between 23- 27 (sic)cent/kWh for an economically available system.
