摘要
A new structure for generating a circularly polarized unidirectional beam pattern is presented in this work. The antenna is designed using torus knot as a radiator and it is excited by a power divider network with a sequential-phase variation. In order to understand the radiation properties of the proposed antenna, the parametric analysis is done. Additive manufacturing technology is used to fabricate the torus knot structure. The measured results are in good agreement with the simulated design. The proposed antenna has a wide impedance bandwidth of 21.21% (from 3.96 GHz to 4.90 GHz) and as well as wide axial ratio bandwidth of 37% (3.76 GHz to 5.47 GHz).
