摘要：
A collection of continua is described such that each continuum either is incomparable with some element of the collection, or it is a continuous image of the harmonic fan. As a consequence, a characterization of continua comparable with all continua is obtained. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
