摘要：

Talents cultivation, scientific research, social services and cultural guidance are the fundamental functions of the institutions of higher education developed in their historical development, which play a key role in pushing forward the civilization and development of human society. The work of continuing education is the important content for the institutions of higher education to provide social services. This article conducts a thorough discussion on the problems that the institutions of higher education are confronting in carrying out the work of continuing education. Some suggestions are put forward to deal with these problems.
