Warm rolling and recrystalliztion textures in an IF and an ELC steel

摘要
The warm rolling and subsequent annealing textures of an IF and an ELC steel have been investigated using both single and multipass rolling in the ferritic temperature range. Under similar conditions, for both single pass and multipass rolling, the IF steel showed 3-4 times stronger gamma fibre intensity, as compared to the ELC steel. The annealing textures for both IF and ELC steels were found to follow similar trends as the corresponding warm rolling textures.
