摘要
The arrival of the new coronavirus disease (COVID- 19) has challenged and exposed the precar-ization of health systems in the face of pandemic diseases. Medical personnel has demonstrated their commitment to service and workforce force, despite having inadequate medical equip-ment, supplies, hospital beds, and personnel, not to mention the risk of being victims of this disease. With this article, we aim to share the experience and capabilities of the medical staff to overcome adversities: their resilience and resourcefulness in the face of traumatic situations, and using and modifying any available equipment in the absence of mechanical ventilators to miti-gate the progression of the disease.
