摘要
Finite Element modelling (FEM) has been expounded with the introduction of concrete materials constitutive relationship model. Meanwhile, bearing capacity of simply supported concrete beam is simulated by adopting FEM software-ANSYS through the whole computation process. Moreover, results of computed values and experimental values are compared demonstrating that related nonlinear analysis and treatment can be done well in this approach. Reinforced concrete (RC) structures are the mostly widely used forms of structure in civil engineering nowadays. Combined by two different materials in nature concrete and reinforced bars, RC is thus complicated in nature with both linear and nonlinear characteristics present while it is rather difficult in analysis and description by the traditional analysis. However,in the past several decades, finite element has emerged as a powerful numeric analysis tool with the rapid development of electronics and nonlinear analysis method, and it has played an increasingly crucial role in RC nonlinear analysis with its great advantages in practical availability, feasibility as well as convenience. Numeric simulation of cracks occurred and developed in RC structures is a very effective approach by adopting FEM on computers while results are rather different by using different FEM simulation approaches. Therefore,it is one of the crucial problems that using relatively rational FEM is helpful in numeric simulation of cracks occurred and developed in RC structures.
