摘要
Nineteen leaders and potential employers in the health and human services field participated in structured interviews in summer 1996 at a large graduate school of social work regarding the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they look for in MSW graduates. Common desired characteristics were (a) knowledge of the research process, (b) writing and communication skills, (c) critical thinking skills, and (d) an attitude of openness and flexibility. This article describes the research process, how it was used to inform curriculum revision, and implications for social work education.
