摘要
The SMES system generally adopts the power conditioning system (PCS), which is made of high frequency power electronics switching devices. The superconducting magnet withstands high frequency PWM pulse voltage, which will induce insulation deterioration, even induce the insulation breakdown. This paper proposes the integrate method to alleviate the PWM pulse voltage. Based on the voltage distribution characteristic of SMES magnet, the influence factors of the pulse overvoltage on SMES magnet are analyzed. Then, considering the interaction between different components of SMES, the factors including PCS control, power cable parameters, filter type, and magnet parameters are designed comprehensively. Finally, the proposed method is implemented in a SMES model to evaluate its effectiveness. (C) 2019 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
