Spectroscopical imaging of electron scattering in two-dimensional conductors

摘要
A new method to study electron scattering processes in conductors is proposed and experimentally realized. This method is based on the separation of the particles which are scattered at the different angles in a magnetic field. Experimental implementation of this method on GaAs(AlGaAs) heterojunctions has confirmed the ideas about essential differences of momentum transfer mechanisms in two- and three-dimensional systems. Most conspicuous is the increased importance of the small angular scattering for small excess energies. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
