摘要
In this paper, we report a new rotor topology of the reluctance synchronous motor (SynRM) with auxiliary flux barriers. In order to analyze the performance of the new topology, SynRM models with the auxiliary flux barriers are compared to traditional SynRM models. At this time, each model is optimized considering five characteristics: 1) specific power, 2) torque ripple, 3) efficiency, 4) total harmonic distortion of voltage, and 5) power factor. For the purpose of simultaneously optimizing the five characteristics, a many-objective optimization, NSGA-III, is applied. Moreover, the two-dimensional finite element method is employed for the precise simulation of the motor performance.
