摘要
With the rapid increase of urban motor vehicles quantity in China, the atmospheric pollution and energy resource deficiency become more and more serious, which bring great influence on urban sustainable development. According to related theories of Environmental Carrying Capacity (ECC) and Environmental Capacity (EC), the concept of Urban Motor-vehicles Environmental Carrying Capacity (UMECC) is presented in this paper, and a model for calculating UMECC based on environmental pollution is put forward and expounded, which is solved by a creative standard vehicle model. Furthermore, on the base of realities in Beijing, taking nitrogen oxides as the control target, the calculation on the motor vehicles pollution carrying capacity is studied with this model. At last, the prospect of applying UMECC related theories further is described.
