The way of intensive corn silage production or using of natural methods

摘要
The share of maize ration has global 58%. Interest in growing corn in the Czech Republic continues. Increasing maize area in recent years occurred. Today, the question is which direction to grow corn, due to environmental aspects of agriculture and the regulations of the European Union. Two directions: intense and biological, on base of four years trials (2013-2016) were been laid. Intense direction offers a combination of different types of fertilizers and the method of application. The biological method uses soil bacteria and parasitic fungi to increase yields. In both methods, there is an increase of dry matter silage of 3-19%. Methodologies to produce sufficient silage are given in original experiments. It is only the farmer's choice which method or combination of methods will be used on the field.
