摘要:
The operational and strategic facets of JIT are investigated for 130 U.S. manufacturing and 61 service organizations. The literature related to JIT is reviewed and summarized. A field study is conducted and a research framework is advanced to test five research hypotheses. The results of this empirical investigation are presented and their implications are discussed in the context of the research framework. A revised framework is offered for future research.
