摘要
Pure WC powder of about 200 nm in diameter was sintered by the spark plasma sintering process without the addition of any binder phase. The initial ultrafine particle size was basically maintained after sintering. The binderless WC sintered at 1773 K for 240 s showed almost full densification and exhibited excellent mechanical properties. (c) 2005 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
