摘要
In this study, we have presented successful cases of patients who underwent the salvaged Le Fort II distraction procedure using the halotype distraction device as secondary repair for an unfavorable outcome of the monobloc and Le Fort III distraction that used an internal distraction device. We have discussed problems associated with distraction using an internal device and the effectiveness of halo distraction, in particular of salvaged Le Fort II halo distraction, for secondary repair for unfavorable outcomes of Le Fort III distraction that used an internal device.
