Due to a large number of distributed generators and controllable devices approached to distribution network, the traditional optimization control method, which separates the transmission and the distribution system, is not applicable. This paper presented a voItage optimization method combining transmission and distribution networks. The method considered the differences between transmission network and distribution network in the control means. Established a single phase reactive power optimization model to the transmission system, which can be solved by the primal dual interior point algorithm rapidly, and three-phase reactive power optimization model to the distribution network, whose exact solution can be got by the semi-definite programming theory. By the iteration ofthe power and the voItage at the boundary between the both networks, the reactive power and voltage of the whole network can reach the optimal state. The resuIts of simulation proved that the method can make full use of all controllable resources, and realize the coordinated control of voltage and reactive power in the whole system.
