Interpretation of Entropy as a Measure of Disorder and its Influence on Modem Picture of the World

The treatment of entropy as a measure of disorder is the bearing (basic) element of tacit knowledge which is lying on the grounds of the modem scientific knowledge. This article shows that this treatment is mistaken, and that it has a large negative effect on the modem scientific worldview deforming it. The article clarifies the changes which the rejection of this treatment would cause for the following important parts of modem worldview as synergetics, the theory of natural selection, and the prohibition of perpetual motion engines of the second kind.
