摘要
In this paper, we demonstrate a possible astrophysical application of physics of dense matter, which is related to the r-mode instability of rapidly rotating compact star. We discuss some microscopic consideration to compute the time scale for energy dissipation in the presence of superfluid vortices. As such an example, color-flavor locked (CFL) quark matter is considered.
