Applying Fuzzy Multiple-Attribute Decision Making Based on Set-pair Analysis with Triangular Fuzzy Number for Decent Homes Distribution Problem

摘要
The Social Affairs Office of the Aceh Government has distributed decent homes for impoverished families in Aceh through a social housing refurbishment program. However, the selection process of receiving decent homes has been done through assessments given by decision makers based on their personal judgments and references. This is vulnerable to occur subjectivity and fuzziness problems in determining these home recipients. In this paper, we presented an application of a fuzzy multi-attribute decision-making model using set-pair analysis with the alternative value and the criteria weight being triangular fuzzy numbers in order to solve this distribution problem. This model utilizes the set-pair analysis theory and transforms the triangular fuzzy numbers into dual-connection numbers. In the dual-connection numbers form, we then respectively calculate the absolute-positive and negative ideal-connection numbers for each the alternatives and consecutively determine the cumulative positive and negative distance with the absolute-positive ideal dual-connection number and the absolute-negative ideal dual-connection number for each alternative. Then, the relative dual-connection number distance is calculated to obtain the alternatives' ranking order. Finally, the set-pair analysis steps are clearly described through a numerical example and the study result in terms of ranking order is exactly similar to the result demonstrated in the previous work.
