摘要
Hypoxia plays a predominant role in tumor development and is a sign of poor prognosis for the patient. HIF (Hypoxia-Inducible Factor) is the transcription factor of the cellular response to hypoxia. Mitochondrion is an essential actor in resistance to apoptosis in cancer cells. Mitochondrion participates actively in the metabolic reprogramming of tumor cells. Its physiology probably plays an important role in many cancer processes, A better understanding of these mechanisms is an important future issue in oncology.
