摘要
Neuro-endovascular surgery is carried out to treat aneurysms in a minimally invasive manner. One of the complications which occurs is the rupture of the arterial wall caused by excessive force applied at the contact point of stent and vessel. This work looks at developing a methodology to predict the forces that could cause arterial rupture during the surgery. Various parameters that influence the development of stress in the arterial wall were investigated and their nature of influence recorded.
