摘要:
Arc bond sputtering (ABS) was used to prepare CrN/NbN superlattice coatings on a mild steel substrate. Potentiodynamic polarization was used to investigate macroparticle induced corrosion in the coated ring samples. The formation of the base layer by pre-etching process increased the interfacial strength and also resulted in the formation of drops. Analysis of the surface showed that the coatings had a dense grain structure, with semi-spherical macroparticle tops embedded in a random distribution over the surface.
