This paper is concerned with the numerical simulation for electric field distributions computed by the 1-ray model combined with the 2-ray model where we have introduced amplitude modification factor alpha, propagation order of distance beta and field matching factor gamma. First, we show that the path loss L-p can be determined from alpha alone, since beta depends only on the source antenna height. Second, we show that it is possible to estimate a in any propagation environments by the interpolation using path losses obtained by Hata's empirical equations for urban, suburban and open areas. Finally, we propose a numerical procedure to estimate a based on the statistical data, that is, building coverage ratio and floor area ratio in Fukuoka. Numerical examples are also presented for distributions of the modification factor a in the urban areas of Fukuoka.
