摘要
Observations of the growth of aerosol in clouds are presented for rural and marine environments. Simple calculations suggest that the only feasible growth mechanism capable of explaining the observed growth is aqueous phase oxidation in cloud droplets, or, in other words, chemical processing in clouds.
