摘要
Ion-surface interactions constitute a primary mechanism of surface modification of astronomical bodies that do not have protective atmospheres, via sputtering, implantation, chemical reactions, and surface charging. We briefly review recent laboratory simulations aimed at answering some of the questions posed by telescopic observations.
