摘要
This paper develops an analytical model to study the performance of dual-wound three-phase surface permanent magnet synchronous machines under normal operating conditions and various fault scenarios. A generic analytical model of inductance calculation is developed considering multiple layers of coils in the stator slots for different slot-pole combinations. The performance of three dual-wound machine topologies, namely, 12-slot/8-pole, 12-slot/10-pole and 9-slot/6-pole, are compared using the proposed model. Finite element analysis has been used to validate the analytical results.
