INTELLIGENT DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM BASED ON CBR

Research on decision support system( DSS) with the use of the artificial intelligence technique has formed the intelligent decision support system( IDSS). Case-based reasoning, which is abbreviated to CBR, is an important machine learning method. It has been successfully applied in many areas, including the decision-making support system. This paper mainly discusses about the similarity computation between two cases in CBR. First, we briefly introduce the commonly similarity computation functions based on distance, and then, we present a new approach to compute the similarity and discuss some problems related to this subject.
