The authors report on a child with known neurofibromatosis Type I who developed high-grade diffuse leptomeningeal gliomatosis. without a known primary glioma. To the authors' knowledge, this is the first report of the coexistence of these conditions in a child. (DOI: 10.3171/PED.2008.2.12.402)
