Application and Thinking of Multimedia Technology in College Teaching

Aiming at the application of multimedia technology in classroom teaching of colleges and universities present situation analysis, the existence of people with computer, screen display content in the form of text exhibits more, the lack of interaction between teachers and students, students' lack of time for thinking and ideas have been discovered. This paper analyzes the reasons of low efficiency in the use of multimedia technology from three aspects: design and function of multimedia, the importance of the individual teacher's modern concept of classroom teaching, multimedia courseware content. Finally, the use of multimedia technology puts forward the strategy from six aspects: correct understanding of the role of multimedia in the teaching of multimedia use, clear personnel, teaching contents selected multimedia courseware design good performance, mainly in learning content presentation strategy, establishing the student based classroom, equality and interaction, the strengthening of Teacher Education information technology training, in order to improve the efficiency in the use of multimedia technology.
