摘要
This paper describes the image processing chain to perform the Vickers hardness test for steels. The Vickers hardness is calculated fi-om the diagonal measurements of the indent obtained with a Vickers indenter. An automatic segmentation algorithm is used to isolate the area of interest, For fast locating the indents in the image. a polygonal fitting algorithm was developed.
