摘要
Type VI secretion systems (T6SS) is a recently discovered class of secretion systems which is apparently widespread among Gram-negative bacteria. In several Gram-negative bacteria T6SSs are essential for virulence or to maintain symbiotic interaction with eukaryotic host cells. In the genome of Erwinia amylovora CFBP 1430, we identified three T6SS gene clusters, with different sets and organization of core genes. Two E. amylovora T6SS clusters are similar to those in E. pyrifoliae DSM 12163(T) and E. tasmaniensis Et1/99, while the third T6SS cluster is found only in E. amylovora CFBP 1430.
