摘要
Earlier experimental investigations have demonstrated the particular regularity of inequality in warp projections in loom-state polyester fabric width. It was get that the warps are more flat in the border part of the fabric, while in the central part of the fabric the projections of the warps in the plane of the fabric are signally lower. These differencies influence on some fabric properties, such as fabric strength. In oder to analyse how one system of yarns influences on another it was done the cross-section of fabric along the weft. These investigations allow predicting some fabric cross-sectional parameters more precisely, i.e. the geometrical parameters can be measured. The preliminary investigations of fabric cross-section showed the difference between the crimp of yarns at different distance from fabric edge, which has a significant influence on the fabric strength inequality.
