摘要
Field experiment study was conducted at the Farm of Faculty of Agriculture, Debrecen Univerisity., Hungary, to investigate the tolerance of different sugar beet genotypes to glyphosate and the effect of IAA (Indol acetic acid) as seed treated in improvement of sugar beet tolerance, A randomized complete block design in three replications was used. The main effect mean squares for herbicide and genotypes were highly significant for stand count, plant dry weight, and visual injury %. However, I AA effect was significant of plant dry weight. The soaking sugar beet seeds in IAA before glyphosate application recorded significant decrease in visible injury percentage. Regarding relative rank of several genotypes tolerance to glyphosate under treatment 1 (IAA), it could be observed that Begonia, Cesira, Belinda and Alios sugar beet genotypes gave the highest values of plant dry weight with insignificant difference untreated treatment.
