摘要
The processes that cause darkening of the MgF2 windows of a gas-discharge source of VUV radiation have been experimentally investigated. Various causes for transmission losses of the windows under the action of VUV radiation on the window surface are discussed. It is concluded that it is possible to minimize the radiation losses.
