摘要：

Globalization has created new challenges but also new opportunities for countries, issues have led to major changes in the system of social relations between states but also nationwide. These changes within the international environment have led to a global influence on government strategies of states, in education have resulted indevelopment of new concepts,the kind of university autonomy. As a valuable concept in a democratic society, indispensable to the civilized world, academic autonomy has been the subject of reforms in education for the last 22 years. Hence, there has been a continuous search for solutions to improve the academic life in Romania.
