Vibronic theory of electric hysteresis in ''bistable'' mixed-valence molecular salts

摘要
We recently succeeded in investigating a model of ''bistable'' molecular ferroelectrics, based on a two-orbital cooperative adaptation of the Piepho-Krausz-Schatz vibronic theory. Here, we describe the behavior of the system under an applied electric field. We show the peculiarities of the electric hysteresis loops associated with the molecular bistability of the system, leading to 3-state information storage.
