Background: The World Health Organization, Regional Office for Europe has published interim guidance material on how to deal with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in prisons and other places of detention. Aim: The measures recommended in the guidance will be complemented by additional demands, especially for drug dependent prisoners.
