摘要
Inverse scattering problem solution is very challenging in microwave breast imaging for cancer detection. In this paper, the solution of highly under-determined inverse scattering problem is obtained using 3D level set based optimization. Debye model is used to incorporate dispersion and polarization properties of breast tissues. Two level set functions are used to reconstruct distribution of four tissues in the numerical breast phantom. Reconstructed shape of tissue distributions and Debye parameter values both are very promising using level set based optimization.
