Many potential therapeutic options are now available for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension. Interest has emerged in using therapies in various combinations. Retrospective experience has suggested that this approach is common and can be efficacious. Data are emerging supporting the benefit of combination therapy; however, limitations and questions remain about this strategy.
